Installation

Server Box is available on several platforms. Choose the download source for your device.

Mobile

iOS

Download Server Box from the App Store.

Android

Choose an installation source:

• GitHub Releases: Project release page
• CDN: Direct release downloads
• F-Droid: FOSS app repository
• OpenAPK: Third-party app store

Desktop

macOS

Download from the App Store or GitHub Releases, or install with Homebrew Cask:

brew install --cask server-box

All macOS builds require macOS 13 or later. The App Store build supports Apple silicon only. GitHub Releases provide ServerBox-<version>-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon and ServerBox-<version>-amd64.dmg for Intel; Homebrew automatically selects the correct build for your Mac.

The DMG build also includes a local terminal. The sandboxed App Store build cannot provide this feature.

Linux

Download the AppImage from GitHub Releases or the CDN.

Windows

Download the portable zip package from GitHub Releases or the CDN.

watchOS

The Watch app is distributed with the iOS app through the App Store. After installation, configure the servers to show in the iPhone app. The Watch app requires watchOS 10 or later; the iOS app itself still supports iOS 15 or later.
